تلقى السيد الرئيس " عبد الفتاح السيسي " اتصالاً هاتفياً من السيد  "نجيب ميقاتي" رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية ، تناول تطورات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية، والجهود المصرية للدفع تجاه وقف إطلاق النار وحماية المدنيين، وكذا نفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية، بالإضافة إلى الجهود الدولية الرامية للحيلولة دون توسع دائرة الصراع في المنطقة، مع العمل على إحياء مسار السلام بهدف التوصل إلى تسوية عادلة وشاملة للقضية الفلسطينية على أساس حل الدولتين على النحو الذي يحقق الأمن والاستقرار في الشرق الأوسط.

This evening, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone from Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati.

The call focused on developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. President El-Sisi and Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Mikati, discussed Egypt’s efforts to push for a ceasefire, the protection of civilians, and access for humanitarian assistance and relief into Gaza, as well as international efforts to prevent the expansion of the cycle of the conflict. They also tackled efforts toward reviving the path of peace in order to achieve a just and comprehensive settlement to the Palestinian issue, based on the two-state solution, in a manner that realizes security and stability in the Middle East.
